WHAT IS Treat Yourself LA?
Treat Yourself LA is a new, trendsetting event that will allow hungry visitors across Los Angeles to indulge in an ultimate foodie fantasy for one exclusive day. The event will feature mouth-watering samples from dozens of curated exhibitors across Southern California. Learn more about Treat Yourself here.
When is it happening?
The event will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on March 17, 2018.
How do I become a exhibitor? Does it cost anything?
All interested exhibitors, must fill out an online application. The deadline for online applications is December 1st. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, due to space limitations within each food category. We encourage applying early for participation.
Participation and booth arrangements do not cost anything for the exhibitor. However, by participating, exhibitors agree to provide free food samples for estimated attendees (TBA), supported by an event stipend provided by Treat Yourself. Stipend amounts to of 40 cents per sample prepared or up to $300. Treat Yourself will work with each exhibitor to clarify expected guest counts as well as solutions for food prep and presentation.
Treat Yourself covers and provides booth arrangements, business signage, a food stipend, car parking, and electricity. Food truck parking will not be accommodated, but we encourage food truck exhibitors to work with us on needs for booth and food prep accommodations.
What else do I get with my participation as a exhibitor?
Each exhibitor will receive four wristbands for staff to gain access to the event. Any additional staff will need to purchase general admission tickets. Each exhibitor gets one parking spot included.

What space will I have for my food, displays, and prep?
Each exhibitor will have a dedicated booth and signage. Specific dimensions and food prep station availability will be discussed with each exhibitor following the submission of their application. Treat Yourself works with each exhibitor to help create the best experience for their brand, their food, and attendees.
Exhibitors are invited to provide all their own fixtures and display items. Please note all fixtures must be hand carried by each exhibitor into the venue. Because of this, we encourage easily transported displays.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE your exhibitorS?
To ensure the exhibitors are diverse and meet the expectations of our attendees, Treat Yourself LA is juried. We review and consider every application and identify availability within our food categories. As noted above, spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, due to space limitations. We encourage applying early.
Be sure to include as much information as possible within your application. If your business specializes in several different types of food or products, please be sure to identify all.
We want exhibitors who can create mouth-watering samples that taste as good as they look. We are looking to curate a full menu that includes sweet and savory, so please don't be fooled by the name. This isn't a dessert festival, but a full food festival.
Do I need to live in LA to participate?
Our goal is to curate exhibitors who reside locally, within Southern California. Treat Yourself LA will introduce dozens of brands to the attendees, and we want to encourage continued support and patronage. That will happen through proximity to our guests.
WHEN WILL I KNOW IF I AM ACCEPTED?
We will notify applicants via email whether or not they have been accepted for Treat Yourself LA. Remember to check your junk mail folder, your 'promotions' folder and/or 'updates folder' on Gmail. Also, please add ‘hello@treatyourselfLA.com’ to your safe list, as we send our emails through MailChimp which may get flagged by your email provider as junk!
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
If you need to cancel you must notify us via email. Any cancellations within four weeks of the event are subject to fees, covering the cost of equipment and/or marketing promotions Treat Yourself LA provided for the exhibitor. Terms will be finalized within a booking agreement with each exhibitor.
DO I NEED PERMITS TO PARTICIPATE?
Yes. You will need to provide proof of health permits for food handling and safety.
